The group was formed in 1983 to protect the trees in Ilex Avenue. (See History)
The group has 411 members and is run by a small group of 7 committee members.
The committee meet typically on a monthly basis where we discuss issues that may threaten the beauty and character of the Ilex Avenue and environs. We also co-ordinate various Projects to protect the environment and conserve its character.
We distribute a newsletter each year, which includes an invitation to our Annual General Meeting
Our next Annual General Meeting is to be held on 17th September 2026 hopefully in the Methodist Church Hall, Bury Drive.
